    COMMERCE CITY – Explore something new at the Commerce City Library in September. With classes for adults and fun crafts for kids, the library has something for everyone.

Special Programs

Celebrate Diversity

Saturday, Sept. 12

11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Help celebrate the launch of the new Rangevie Library District branch and learn about different cultures while creating memories with friends and family. Design a own sugar skull from Mexico with edible paint; create a Good Luck Hand, a craft from Northern Africa, where the eye in the center protects against evil; or design a masquerade mask.

LapSit Story Time

Mondays, 10 to 11 a.m.

    Themes vary from week to week, and parents are encouraged to join in the fun.

 

Children’s After School Program

Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

    Denver Zoo presents their Remarkable Reptiles program featuring reptiles, the creatures that can’t make their own heat.

ESL Classes

Mondays, 6:30 pm

and Saturdays, 10 a.m.

    The classes run for eight weeks, beginning Sept. 12, but drop-ins are welcome. Materials and books are provided. Sign up at the service desk.

 

Spanish Classes

Fridays, 4:30 p.m.

    This is an eight-week class, beginning Sept. 11. Books and materials are provided. Sign up at the service desk.
