U.S. veteran Robert “Bob” John Mumby Sr., 86,of Fort Lupton, died March 30, 2009, at Balfour Hospice Care in Louisville.
He was born May 12, 1922, in Edmonton, Canada. Bob was a World War II veteran (Navy) a carpenter by trade, and farmer.
Survivors include his son, John (Carol) Mumby; his daughter, Beckie (Bud) Fagan, four grandchildren; his companion, Harriet Hein and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Peggie; a brother, Fred; and sisters, Florence, Joy, Lucille, Jeanne and Vivienne.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18, at Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran School Educational Scholarship Fund, c/o Zion Lutheran School, 1400 Skeel St., Brighton.
