Eagle Ridge Academy rolled to a 77-42 win over Weld Central in the opening round of the state 4A boys basketball playoffs Feb. 22 in Brighton.

The Warriors turned on the defense in the second half and outscored the Rebels 41-18.

Hunter Hill led ERA with 29 points. Christian (CJ_ Seifert tossed in 19, as did James "Kyren" Allen. Jonathan Betancourt led the Rebels with 14 points, including a pair of 3-point baskets. Brendan Buzzell added 10.

Weld Central finished the season with a mark of 10-14. Eagle Ridge (19-5) hosts Riverdale Ridge Saturday, Feb. 25. Tip time is 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Eagle Ridge.
