Paul Remley Welch, 81, of Brighton, died Jan. 19, 2009, at his home in Brighton.
He was born July 9, 1927, in South Dakota to Arthur and Lottie (Pack) Welch. He married Vickie Sue Hendrickson, and they were married for 35 years.
He was the general representative for the Carpenter Union, United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
Survivors include his wife; son Paul Welch, Jr.; daughters, Susan Gardner, Windy (Clark) Sloan, Tracy Houston and Carrie (Steve) Sutterlin; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Jan. 23 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, Brighton. The funeral service was Jan. 24 at the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton, 510 S. 27th Ave. Interment was at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver.
