Nancy J. Henry, 89, of Brighton, died Feb. 11, 2009, in her home.
She was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Longmont, to Brian and Margaret (Howe) Rundle. She graduated from Longmont High School and earned her teaching degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
She married LaMar C. Henry May 28, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas. They were married for 64 years. Nancy started her teaching career in Fort Lupton, continued in Brighton and ended her career in Goodland, Kan. She was a member of the Brighton PFO and the Brighton First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sons Robert (Linda) Henry of Eaton, Charles (Nancy) Henry of Granby, and John Henry of Fort Collins; daughters Marinan (Don) Keeling of Pleasanton, Texas, Nancy (Jerry) Meyring of Alliance, Neb., Nadine Henry of Gunnison and Margaret (John) Gubber of Brighton; brother, Robert (Jane) Rundle of Longmont; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death in August 2006.
Memorial service is at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 19, at the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton, 510 S. 27th Ave., Brighton, CO 80601.
