Michael C. Benjamin, 57, of Fort Lupton, died Sept. 11, 2009, at his home.
He was born June 25, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Cyril C. and Bonnie L. (Smith) Benjamin. Michael attended Weld Central High School. He married Mary Y. Elliott Jan. 13, 1973, in Fort Lupton. Michael worked for Adams City Manufacturing for 22 years. He later worked for PCA, of Commerce City, and Merritt Equipment for a brief time but retired due to health reasons in 1998.
Survivors include his wife; son, Jeff (Debra) of Lochbuie; brother, Ben, of Platteville; sisters, Anna Todd, of Commerce City, and Jennifer Johnson, of Hudson.
He was preceded in death by both parents; and a brother, Jeff, in 1970.
Funeral service was Sept. 15 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton. Interment followed at Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville.
