Lawrence Stone, 62, of Westminster, died July 18, 2009, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1947, in Richmond, Calif., to Joe and Mary (Maes) Stone. He married Rose Nov. 28, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Lawrence worked as a forklift operator for Office Depot for the last 14 years. Prior to that, he was employed for 14 years by Tempte Trucking. He was a resident of Westminster since 2002 and a member of Victory Church in Westminster.
Survivors include his mother; his wife; sons, Steve Cruz, of Colorado Springs, and Joe Stone, of Westminster; daughters, Christine Stone and Laura Stone, of Westminster; sisters, Gloria Abeyta and Louise Abeyta, of Henderson; brothers, Joseph Stone, of Thornton, and Timothy Stone and Rodney Stone, of Westminster; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1979 and sister, Juanita Hunt, in 1994.
A funeral service was July 27 at the Victory Church in Westminster. Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery in Brighton.
