George Trujillo, 73, of Brighton, died July 6, 2009, in Denver.
He was born Jan. 16, 1936, in Wattenberg to Manuel and Sarah (Gallegos) Trujillo. He attended high school in Fort Lupton. George married Terri L. Mauer Sept. 19, 2005, in Brighton.
George worked for Union Pacific Railroad and Rife Petroleum.
Survivors include his mother, of Brighton; his wife; daughter, Virginia (Harvey) Ortiz, of Lakewood; sons, George, of Brighton, Michael (Barbara), of Thornton, and Richard (Valerie), of Broomfield; brothers, Bruno, of Denver, Joe (Josie) and Richard (Ruth), both of Brighton; sister, Carol (George) Ruibal, of Decatur, Texas; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Becky.
Funeral service was July 10 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton.
Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
