Fire district pursues grant for new station

BRIGHTON — Fire trucks, firefighters, public education materials and even teddy bears to hand out to children.

The Greater Brighton Fire District has used more than $1 million in federal, state and business grants over the past 18 months to buy a lot of things.

But next month, district officials will put the finishing touches on their most ambitious grant application to date.
