It all comes down to money, or the lack of it.

RTD FasTracks public relations personnel are on tour again, seeking to drum up renewed financial support for the beleaguered Fastracks project still on track, yet spiraling in cost.

While offering Commerce City riders a share of the project, Brighton residents have come to expect little more than promises, despite being the only county seat in the metro area without slated FasTracks service.

And the lingering question from Brighton residents and city leaders remains, “What have you done for me lately, and why should I care?”
