GREELEY – Angelica Bujanda, the Fort Lupton woman accused of vehicular homicide in connection with a crash in August, entered a not-guilty plea to that charge Nov. 23 in Weld County District Court.
She also had a preliminary hearing last week. There was enough evidence to move forward to trial, according to Weld County District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Jennifer Finch.
Bujanda’s next court appearance is a bond hearing at 2 p.m., Dec. 14.
The Colorado State Patrol said Bujanda made a U-turn in front of another car on U.S. Highway 85 near Fort Lupton in August. The driver of the second car, Crystal Herman, of Brighton, died.
