Another activity crossed off our big to-do list. We took our first camping trip together as a family for Memorial Day weekend. And oh, what a weekend it was.

For our first camping trip we decided to go a little commercial just to make sure that there were other activities for the children besides roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. We made a last-minute reservation at Jellystone of Estes Park and got the second to last campsite available. Yeah us.

The highlight of our weekend had to be in the first 15 minutes when our youngest decided to drop his drawers and try to pee all over the grill stand at our campground. Talk about getting acclimated quickly. “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.”
