Brandy Machuca-Salazar, and Anthony Salazar, of Commerce City, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Josie Angela Machuca-Salazar.

Josie was born Oct. 27, 2008, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ½ ounces, and measured 18 ¼ inches.

Josie’s grandparents are Karen and Gilbert Machuca, of Hammond, Indiana, and Dolores and Robert Salazar, of Commerce City.

Josie joins brothers, Michael, 12, and Xavier, 10, at home.

Sabrina Morales and Timothy Crespin, of Brighton, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Sonia Rose Morales.

Sonia was born Oct. 29, 2008, at Platte Valley Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 20 inches.

Sonia’s grandparents are Joseph and Maxine Morales, of Brighton, Leroy Benal, of Brighton, and the late Rose Anne Crespin, of Rifle.

Sonia is the couple’s first child.
